For your 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback you will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C98BR. This hitch is custom fit for your Mazda 3 and has a maximum tongue weight rating of 200lbs. Be sure to check your owners manual or with a dealer for the maximum weight you can carry. You will need to enlarge 1 hole one each side of the frame to be able to insert the mounting hardware.

I recommend the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack # TH9058 that will allow you to carry 2 bikes that weight up to 37.5lbs each. You can use this bike rack with a 1-1/4" receiver like the one for the Mazda 3 or a 2" receiver on another vehicle.

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118808 will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 with your bike rack if the taillights are hidden by the bikes.
