Should SumoSprings Solo Helper Springs SSR-312-54 Touch Axle Of 2018 Ram Power Wagon?

I have a 2018 Ram Power Wagon with 6.4L Engine. I just had a shop to put the SumoSpring rated at 2,800lbs yellow on. The distance between the axle and the spring is 1, so it looks to be a large gap to me, so I am wondering how big of gap should it be to keep the truck look like it is sqatting? I have the old parts that came with the truck and it looks like spacers, 1" thick, so I slide it between the gap and it fits but with very little play room, so should I go back to the shop and have them to put the spacers in or will it effect my normal ride b/c of no real spacing between the axle and sumospring? Do you sale a 1/2inch spacer that will work with these sumos?

It sounds like when the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Spring # SSR-312-54 you purchased were installed on your 2018 Ram Power Wagon the included spacers were not used.

You will need to have the installer remove the helper springs and use the spacers, as they should be very close or touching the axle when the truck is unloaded.

The # SSR-312-54 compress easily at first for soft engagement and a less bumpy ride, and do not get stiff until the compress further than they will with the truck unloaded.

I included a video of the # SSR-312-54 for you to take a look at.
