Hard Wiring Draw-Tite Activator Trailer Brake Controller, Part # 5100, in 2004 Ford F-250/F-350


Coming from the truck 04 ford super duty there A green wire also. I know blu to blu,white to white,red to red Blk to blk but that leves green from the truck were it go

Based on your photo it looks like the green-blue-red-white wires shown are from a factory-installed brake control harness. If you refer to the linked article on Ford brake controllers you will see a photo of the harness that I believe you have, which has the same 4 color wires.

It is recommended that you test the functions on the red and green wires before connecting your brake controller. You can use a circuit tester like # PTW2979, shown in the linked video. Red wire should carry +12 volts at all times. Green wire should carry a stop light signal when the brake pedal is pressed. (The White wire is for ground and the Blue wire for the trailer brakes.) If you confirm these functions you can connect your brake controller as follows:

Red harness wire connects to black brake controller wire.
Green harness wire connects to red brake controller wire.
White harness and white controller wires connect together.
Blue harness and blue controller wires connect together.
