I have a 2017 dodge ram 1500 mega cab. Will this roof rack work...how will it attach?

I think I can find a way to make it work. I confirmed with my contact at Rhino-Rack that the Rhino-Rack Backbone Mounting System for Pioneer Platform - Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 # RRRR1B1 are only fitted for 2020-2021 RAM models.
Fortunately, the same Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum # RR42115BF will mount to aftermarket roof rack systems. I did some background research on your 2017 RAM 1500 quad cab and discovered that your truck does not come with any factory rails. With this setup, you will need the Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Vortex Aero Crossbars # RR32GR. I went ahead and inserted a picture of the rack at the bottom of this response.
