Availability of Weigh Safe Adjustable Ball Mount that Fits 3 inch Hitch

Question:

Hello, I have a Weighsafe hitch/ball/scale and shank for my old truck which is a 2 1/2 inch and I bought a new truck which is a 3 inch… Can I just get a new shank or do I also need to get the attachable ball Mechanism to fit a 3 inch? I guess my question is that attachable ball weight meter mechanism is interchangeable between the 2 1/2 and a 3 inch shank? And then final question is if my difference between hitch height and trailer Heights 8 3/4 inches what size would you recommend? Thanks, Justin

Weigh Safe ball mount shanks are not interchangeable between hitch sizes. So you are not able to take a system designed for a 2.5 inch hitch and convert it to a 3 inch hitch by simply replacing the shank. So based on that you'd need a new adjustable Weigh Safe adjustable ball mount like with the part # WS8-3 for an 8 inch drop or the # WS10-3 for up to a 10 inch drop.

Or we have a sleeve adapter like part # BWRHXA2183 to allow you to use your current setup.
