5,200 lb Axle-Less System That Can be Used With Electric Brakes

Building a tandem trailer, looking for 5200 lb axels, elec brakes

We do have an option for you, as what you can use instead is a Timbren axle-less suspension system which is bolted or welded so you do not have to worry about finding an axle that meets any specific measurements.

They also offer you an improved ride compared to a traditional through-axle because the Timbrens work independently and have progressive springs that absorb shock better than a traditional axle. For a system with a 5,200 lb capacity and a lift, you would need the following:

- 4" Lift: Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # TASR5200S03

These are both rated for 5,200 lbs per system, and have brake flanges so you can add a hub and drum with electric brakes. For these systems the correct hub and drum is the following:

- Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-201-5UC3-EZ

Then you would only need the electric brakes and mounting hardware:

- Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-464-465

- Mounting Bolts and Hardware # BRKH12

I have added links below to a number of video reviews and installs to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
