Underbody Panel Trimming Dimensions for Curt C11416 hitch for 2018 Honda HR-V

does the Curt #C11416 class1need you to cut a hole in the car. how big is it and is it noticable?

The amount of underbody panel that needs to be trimmed is a factor of the geometry of the hitch. The Curt # C11416 hitch does require some trimming of the fascia. The good news is that the hole is under the vehicle and wouldn't be visible unless you're under the vehicle specifically looking for it.
