Wiring a Drive RV Stereo # 324-000148 Using a Wiring Harness from Jensen AWM910 Stereo

Question:

Can you provide any information on wiring a drive 324-000148 stereo to a jensen awm910 stereo harness. I have tried every combination and cant get it 100 right.

I have attached a drawing of the AWM910 wiring schematic.
Your Drive RV Stereo 324-000148 has a wiring schematic printed on the top of the unit. I have included a photo of it here. However, I you would remove the AWM910 harness after marking the coach wiring, then connect those wires to the new harness made to fit the new Drive Stereo unit.

I would just simply twist and tape the connections until you get everything tested correct. After that I would remake my connections with crimped on but connectors to ensure that they are not rattled loose in the future. You can use the Deka # DW05743-10 connectors and if you don't already have a good quality crimper I would get the Performance Tools # PTW30764 crimpers. They make a solid connection every time.

It's a good idea to put a copy of the wiring diargram up in the installation cavity so you will have it if you need it again.
