Question:

Hi, im looking for options for a roll up or tri-fold tonneau cover and height adjustable bed rack system that wont impede usage of the utili-track system and bed extender. Is there a tonneau cover option that would work with the Yakima Overhaul HD? I see the retractable tonneau options listed on the Yakima website, but I dont want to go that route and lose bed space/usage of the utili-track adjacent the cab.

I have a solution for you, but a roll up or tri-fold tonneau cover is not going to be an option with the Yakima Overhaul HD # Y01151-5868 because of the way it mounts; normally using the Overhaul means mounting it on the inside of the bed rails, which is where most tonneau covers are going to mount. The only alternative to use the Overhaul with a tonneau cover requires the # Y01155 adapter that is designed to fit into the rails that come on a few different retractable covers. Unfortunately those rails are not available on any of the fold up or roll up tonneau covers that would make this work.

I recommend using the Pace Edwards UltraGroove # 311-KRN5780 since it's canister is only 9-1/4" tall x 9-3/4" deep, so it's going to take up the least amount of space of any of the options. This is a hard tonneau cover that will provide great security for everything in the truck bed, and the integrated T-slot rails are designed to work with the Overhaul adapter # Y01155.
