Location of Brake Controller Connector in 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser
Question:
Cannot locate wiring harness for brake box installation in a 2010 Toyoya Land Cruiser. Looked in the 2 location offered by manufacturer

Expert Reply:
According to my representative at Tekonsha, Toyota always places the brake controller connector above and to the left of the emergency brake pedal as shown in the photo I edited for you. Sometimes the connector can be found behind the kick panel to the left of the emergency brake pedal.
Keep in mind that the connector will only be present if your Land Cruiser is equipped with the factory installed 7-way trailer connector. Otherwise, the controller will need to be hardwired using our Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7.
