The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC314336 are designed for 5,200 lb axles, so they can absolutely handle the weight of your 7,800 lb trailer.

To install the Equa-Flex what you will need is the Lippert Components Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit - Wet Bolts # LC64FR.

Since your shackle straps are 2-1/4 inch for a wet bolt and heavy duty shackle kit you'd want the #MR46ZR which comes with bushings as well. You do not need new equalizers.
