Is this kit the best ion for Dexter 7200 lb Nev-r-lube axles with 008-402-90 hubs.

Yes the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit part # K2R79E would be a great solution for adding disc brakes to the idler hubs you have now # 008-402-90. This kit will fit easily and is protected by the same E-coat as the hubs you have as well.
