Recommended Triple Axle System with ABS Braking System

We now have to change the brakes and probably the axels of our trailer. Our current triple axle system is Phillips Dexter with 5000 pund rating each, width approx. 8ft. Drums have the marking "Dexter 8-201", they have a 5 1/2inch 6 bolt pattern. Our winter season is 6 months long so we need a ABS system. We already have the Tuson RV DL-200NE brake controller in our RAM-truck and I think it is smart to continue on the trailer with the same brand. So, please give me your best offer for complete triple axle kit with with Tuson RV ActuLink. Please keep in mind that I still want to use my 15inc rims, as I have 12 brand new wheels for my trailer. For questions please do not hesitate to write to me. Best regards

It doesn't sound to me like you need to replace your axles. The hub/drum assemblies you referenced are for 5200 lb axles, so I can reuse your hubs # 8-201-5. My recommendation is to change out your brake assemblies to the Dexter Hydraulic Drum Brake Kit - Duo Servo - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 7,000 lbs # 23-336-337 with the brake line kit # 24TR-BLKIT.

Then you can use the Tuson 4 Channel Towable Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for Hydraulic Drum Brakes # 335ABS-DLNE-1000 which is compatible with triple axle systems. You connect the center axle with either the front or rear axle in the system. You'll need wheel sensors # 335R955338, sensor mounts # 335ABS-SENSBLOCK. You will also need 4 speed sensor cables like # 335449-713-018, # 335449-713-030, # 335449-713-050, # 335449-713-070, and # 335449-713-090 with the length necessary being determined by the location of the ABS module. Obviously if you connect the center and front axle the lines will be shorter and less expensive.

This system comes with a DirectLink NE network enhanced brake controller like you already have. We have the actuator and brake controller available separately but when you add the ABS component it only comes as the complete kit.
