Suspension Upgrade For a 5200 LB Axle

I have an equalizer that needs service, and was considering the flex replacement. I have the 5200# axles in tandem With 8-201-5UC3 drums. I was considering changing to the ez flex equalizer and was not sure which version is needed. Please advise. Thank You,

I think the EZ Flex equalizer is a great option.
I recommend Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit - Double-Eye Springs -Tandem Axle - 6,000 lbs
Item # K71-652-00

With a regular cast equalizer one axle can have a negative effect on the other because they are working against each other. The rubber core on the EZ Flex helps dampen a lot of negative impact that one axle is causing to the other axle.

It also comes with the wet bolt kit which I recommend to anyone doing a suspension upgrade on a trailer. Being able to grease the bushings allows the bushings to last a lot longer because it reduces friction between the bolt and the bushing as the spring roll moves.

I have attached a link to a video to help walk you through how to get them installed
