Does Malone Hanger 3 Trunk Bike Rack Fit 2012 Acura MDX
Updated 06/25/2020 | Published 06/24/2020
Question:
Is this bike rack compatible with 2012 Acura MDX with a spoiler? The top hooks seem secured when attached to the bike rack but I am wondering if the spoiler see attached pic can withstand the weight of 3 bikes once the car is in motion. Also for the middle hooks, to make sure it was hooking securely I had to make them point outwards instead of inwards see 2nd pic. Just makes me wonder if this bike rack is a good and safe fit for my car. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Yes we checked with Malone and the Malone Hanger 3 Bike Rack # MPG2139 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Acura MDX that has a spoiler as it's listed as a fit for all models. As long as you install it properly and stay under the weight capacities of the rack you'll be totally fine.
