My tow vehicle is a 2019 Ram Crew cab, short box 2500. Can I tow the RV with the slider in any position or must it be fully forward for towing?

The Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16541 with Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch part # C16022 is an excellent option for a 2019 Ram 2500. That said, the hitch can only be slid back while making sharp turns so you would not be allowed to tow with the hitch slid back towards the tailgate. It would need to be locked in the forward position.
