Can a ladies touring bike be carried on a thule outway trunk mount rack? I have a jetta sportswagon 2012

When carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, you will need to use a bike adapter bar, # TH982XT to carry the bike on the OutWay, # TH45JV. This will also allow for greater ground clearance and the bike will be more level. I have included links to videos on the rack and adapter for you to view.
