I'm looking at flat towing my '20 Cherokee Overland and was told I might need a special harness to do it?

Expert Reply:
The harness you are referring to was used for prior model Jeeps but the Mopar 68321424AB harness is no longer needed to eliminate the wobble that has since been addressed in 2020 models. If you don't already have the following flat towing components, they would be required to get you all taken care of:
Base Plates # RM-521451-5
Tow Bar # RM-676
Safety Cables -Included with RM-676
Tow Bar Wiring # RM-152
Supplemental Braking System # HM39494
Additional items to consider but not required include the Tow Defender # RM-4700 and Rock Guard # RM-4000 as protective measures for your Overland as flying rocks and debris are always a risk to your vehicle's appearance. Also a high low adapter like the can be required if your setup requires rise or drop. The included help article is useful in determining what rise or drop could be required.
