I do have a solution for you, however you won't be able to carry a single 60 pound e-bike using any of our trunk mounted bike racks, including the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier # TH910XT. The individual cradles on the rack aren't capable of safely handling a bike that weighs more than 35 pounds.

This means your only option for transporting your bike will be with a trailer hitch and hitch-mounted carrier that's designed for e-bikes.

For the hitch the Draw-Tite Class I # 24990 will work perfectly on your 2019 Kia Forte. Its custom design allows the brackets to line right up to existing holes in the vehicle's frame for a no-drill installation and it will provide you with a 200 pound tongue weight capacity for the rack and loaded bike(s).

I have attached the written installation instructions below that you can check out as well.

Then when choosing a bike rack it's important to find one that's rated for a Class I trailer hitch. If you only plan on carrying the 1 bike the Thule T1 # TH9041 is a really nice option that can handle a single bike that's up to 65 pounds and features a ratcheting hook that secures it by its front wheel without any frame contact.

If you have another bike as well the Thule T2 Pro XTB # TH9035XT is an excellent option. This rack can handle a single bike of up to 60 pounds or two bikes with a total weight of 100 pounds.

I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these racks below that you can take a look at. I have also included a link that will take you to our full selection of Class I rated bike racks that will work well with your heavier bike.
