Availability of B&W Companion Slider for Factory Pucks on Ford F-250

B&W slider for For F250 with factory pucks and ball Does the BandW companion slider REQUIRE the BandW turnover ball system? I see where the non-slider version connects to the pucks only?

The base model of the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch is designed to mount to the square gooseneck ball hole on the Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch, however there are indeed "OEM" slider models of the Companion that are built to drop right into the factory pucks on certain model trucks.

If you have a 2011-2019 Ford F250 with the factory puck system you can use the B&W OEM Companion Slider # BWRVK3370, which will mount directly to the pucks. This does not require any additional components or rail kits for installation and operation. This is an excellent hitch and it includes all the same features (1" thick dual jaws, fully articulating head, cam-action latching handle that prevents binding) that make the base/original Companions one of the best hitches on the market.

This particular model has a towing weight capacity of 20,000 pounds and provides 12" of front to back travel with the slider. I have attached a sample installation video that you can use for reference.
