Parts Needed to Install Hayes Syncronizer on 2001 Toyota Tundra with Factory 4-Way Flat Connector

I have a 2001 tundra access cab that has the factory tow package with a 4 flat connector, and i want to add a tow brake. My father has this old controller, HA81725. What do i have to do to install it?

If you already have a 4-Way wiring connector on your 2001 Toyota Tundra then you just need the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 and the Wiring Adapter # HA81789-HBC to install your father's Hayes Syncronizer Trailer Brake Controller # HA81725. The universal wiring kit plugs into your 4-Way and then comes with the extra wiring and connectors needed to route the wiring to your battery and cab to make the 7-Way fully-functional.

I have attached a video of the ETBC7 wiring kit being installed on a 2002 Tundra that you can reference for the install. The brake controller used in the video is the Prodigy P2 # 90885 but the install will be the exact same for the Syncronizer.
