Determining Height of Pro Series A-Frame Jack # PSEA20000103 for Tailgate Clearance

You have stated that the height of the PSEA20000103 from where it bolts to A-frame to top of jack is 11. Does this include the handle, which is generally about an added 2? I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra and the tailgate hits the top of my existing jack, so Im looking for a replacement that is short enough, including the handle, to avoid the tailgate.

I went out to our warehouse to take some measurements on the Pro Series A-Frame Jack # PSEA20000103 that you referenced and found that there is a distance of 11 inches from the mounting bracket just to the top of the jack tube. From the mounting bracket up to the top of the handle there is a distance of 14 inches.

I have attached an image to assist.

If this pushes you over the height needed to stay under your truck's tailgate I recommend taking a look at the Ultimate Jack # 322-RDJ-2K, which features the same 2,000 pound weight capacity as the Pro Series. This particular jack though uses a unique adjustable collar/bracket that allows for different bracket height settings.

The jack can be adjusted so that it has a bracket to top of handle height as short as 7-1/4 inches, or as tall as 19-1/4 inches. A footplate isn't included but can be added with part # JF-101BK.

I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
