Can BetterWeigh be Used to Make Sure Vehicle Towing Capacity Isnt Exceeded

Question:

Hi: I need to tow my travel trailer which is a 2019 Puma 32 RBQF which is 10,500 lbs loaded weight. Per manual my 2010 Tundra with a tow package is rated for towing to 10,100 lbs. I am going to install a load distribution with sway control hitch. Can the haul gauge work for what I am planning to do? The Tundra has a Class IV hitch rated for 1200 lbs and I am thinking of using the haul gauge to make sure I do not exceed the load rating. Thank you for your assistance. Regards,

The BetterWeigh part # C51701 that you referenced will allow you to know exactly how much tongue weight and total trailer weight you'll be towing so that you can safely stay under your towing capacity. Hopefully your plan is to tow with the trailer below the max weight you listed of 10,500 lbs as we can't recommend you exceed your Tundra's towing capacity even if it's only by 400 lbs.

I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.
