Towing Capacity of Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver C15809 Without a Weight Distribution System

Hi, the hitch says 20,000 lbs w wd, I can’t use a weight distributing hitch with the trailer I have. What is the capacity of the hitch without wd?

The gross towing weight rating for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V Commercial Duty - 2-1/2" part # C15809 is 20,000 lbs with or without the use of weight distribution. The tongue weight rating is also 2,700 lbs with or without the use of weight distribution according to Curt.
You do want to make sure you are not exceeding the tow weight rating for your vehicle that can be found in the owners manual.
