Question:
I recently purchased a bigger trailer that’s dry weight is 5200 lbs and hitch weight of 585 lb. I currently have the 6000/ 600 hitch setup which was fine when I picked up the new trailer. But obviously, once I start loading things in to it this hitch set up its going to work. The trailer has a max VGW at 7000 lbs. From what I’ve be able to research online. It looks like I would only have to buy 90-02-1000 1000/10000 hitch head and the 90-02-1099 10000 lb spring arms. Is this correct? Also would I need to upgrade any other parts like the adjustable shank or anything else? Thanks

You are on the right track Brian! So what you'll need is an upgraded set of spring bars and a new head and you'd be set with a higher rated system. The shank and spring hangers are totally fine.
So the two components you'd need are the # EQ90-02-1000 for the head and two of the spring bars # EQ90-02-1099.
