Can a Roof Bag Be Used On a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
Can the Crosstrek roof handle this bag loaded? I worry about denting the roofing . I have side bars but no crossbars. I saw this was the recommended way to install the bag.

According to the owner's manual for a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, the side rails must be used for cargo carrying purposes which means they do not recommend you place any objects directly on the roof. However, I do still have a cost effective option for carrying cargo which would be to use the Rightline Gear Cargo Hatch Saddlebag part # RL100B90 as this would then be permitted for your Crosstrek.
