The repeater of the TST TPMS for RVs # TST-507-FT-6-C that you referenced is powered by a 12 volt power source. Typically this wires to a circuit that is active when the motorhome is on like a radio or ignition power source. TST states that the power draw could connect to a power source that is active all the time as well and since it draws such a low amperage it would not drain the battery.
The repeater is waterproof so anywhere on your motorhome will be fine basically as long as it's out of harms way. When we installed on a motorhome (see install video link) we put the sensor in one of the side storage compartments with the battery.
