Question:
I have a 2012 CRV All wheel Drive. I am very picky about appearance. Do you have any pictures of the installed receiver? Do you have alternatives that look best? Im not looking to pull heavy loads... primarily small tent trailer.

We have had a chance to install the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C13119, on a 2012 Honda CR-V so I attached a link to the installation video for you to check out. I also attached a picture from the installation instructions for you to check out as well.
You may also be interested in the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 75742. This hitch will have about the same visibility under the bumper as the Curt hitch, but the crossbar begins to recede under the vehicle beginning at the receiver. I have attached a photo of this hitch as well.
Before you purchase a hitch you will want to find the tongue weight, TW, and gross trailer weight, GTW of your trailer. The key difference between the Curt hitch and the Draw-Tite hitch is their weight capacities. The Curt hitch has a TW capacity of 350 lbs and a GTW capacity of 3500 lbs. The Draw-Tite hitch has a TW capacity of 675 lbs and a GTW capacity of 4500 lbs. You will also want to check the towing capacity of your vehicle and never exceed the lowest TW or GTW.
I would also recommend a ball mount like part # 2753, hitch ball, part # 19247, and a pin and clip, part # PC3. You can also buy all of these items together with kit # EBMK4. This kit will provide you with a 2 inch hitch ball, a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball and a carrying bag for organized storage. If you do not currently have a trailer wiring harness on your vehicle, I would recommend the Tow Ready T-One Custom Fit Wiring Harness, part # 118561. I have attached an installation video of this harness on a 2012 Honda CR-V for you to check out. These items will give you everything you need to tow your trailer.
