Will BetterWeigh Mobile Tongue Weight Scale Work on More Than One Vehicle

Question:

I run a shop for an oilfield company and we have many trucks hauling many different loads. is this something I could use to weigh each truck as it gets ready to pull out or would a person have to have a separate unit for each truck?

Change Vehicle. This will erase any custom calibrations and find the new vehicle’s information.  If your vehicle is in our calibration database, changing vehicles will not be a problem. Once you press ‘Change Vehicle,’ the app will simply re-load your calibration from our database (as long as you have an internet connection - either phone service/data or Wi-Fi). If your vehicle requires custom calibrations, using a different phone will allow you to, for example, store the calibrations for vehicle #1 on phone #1 and the calibrations for vehicle #2 on phone #2, etc."" />

I reached out to HaulGauge to ask about using the HaulGauge Mobile Tongue Weight and Payload Scale for OBD II - Bluetooth # C51701 on multiple vehicles in the manner you asked and they told me you can use the scale with multiple trucks:

"in most cases this is easiest using multiple phones. The BetterWeigh app stores the vehicle’s VIN and any calibrations. If you move the HaulGauge to another vehicle, you will have to go into Settings (gear symbol) -> Change Vehicle. This will erase any custom calibrations and find the new vehicle’s information.
