Charging Dump Trailer Battery Recommendations

Question:

Im trying to figure out how some of your customers have managed to use this product on dump trailers as a charging system. Is there any chance I could get some guidance as to how they did it?

The CTEK 12-Volt Universal Battery Charger w/ Pulse Maintenance # CTEK56353 is a charger that you'd use when the trailer is parked. It plugs into a wall outlet and will charge your dump trailer battery all the way up quickly. It would not be a charger that could charge the trailer battery as the truck and trailer are travelling down the road.

If you wanted to directly charge the winch off your truck battery then a much higher gauge wire would be required to deliver the needed amperage like with 2 gauge wire in kit # BDW20206 and # BDW20205. You'd need both for your setup. The longer one installed on the vehicle and the shorter one on the trailer.
