Can HaulGauge Mobile Tongue Weight Scale part # HG103 Be Used with Suspension Enhancement

Question:

2019 F250 w/ 6.2L Eng Factory installed Fifthwheel prep, camper package, tow package. My question is if this uses a gyro based system to calculate fifthwheel pin weight and the sag is reduced by the Timbren Bumper Stop replacement kit, will this still calculate accurate weight? Thank you in advance.

Suspension enhancement like the Timbren kit you have installed on your 2019 Ford F-250 will affect the numbers of the Haulgauge # HG103. According to them a manual calibration would be required with this setup and that the Timbren would need to touch axle plus a set weight to calibrate. Here are the instructions they gave us for how to do this:

HaulGauge measures pin weight using the pitch of the vehicle. Because your suspension is not stock, a short calibration will be required. To calibrate, go to Settings (gear symbol) -> Calibration -> Suspension Weighing.

The app will guide you through a 2 minute process where you open the tailgate and sit on the back of the truck. From other users we have learned (to be accurate) the calibration weight needs to be heavy enough (i.e. 2 people) for the bump stops to engage. The process usually requires a third person to check when the bump stops make contact.

After you've calibrated, you can use the Pin Weight function to get the pin weight for your fifth-wheel.
