Gas and electric will come on for about 5 min then both go off like a low water sensor . Tanks full opened pressure relief to fill . Change gas thermostats and control panel . Still does it

I reached out to my contact at Atwood who said there are a few different reasons why your GC10A-4E Atwood water heater, like part # AT94022, is shutting off after 5 minutes.

She said that it is either reaching the set temperature, that the tank is empty of water, or that it is reaching temperatures excessive of 180 degrees Fahrenheit and the ECO (emergency cut off) is kicking in. If your water isn't reaching the set temperature then try making sure that you have enough water for the tank. If this doesn't fix it then let me know and I can help you troubleshoot further.
