Installation of Roadmaster Brake Lite Relay on 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK for Supplemental Braking System
Question:
RM 88400 brake lite relay with Alternative Brake relay wire 2016 Jeep JK with SMI Duo Play In the video for the SMI Duo Play for the 2016 Jeep JK at 7:54 into the video it talks about the brake lite relay being tied into this, but never explains and it is never mentioned again later or in the RM 88400 video or guides. I have everything else install and the SMI and 88400 are the last two to install so want to make sure I get the sequence right.

The SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251 when used on your 2016 Jeep JK will override the turn signal on your Jeep so you will need to add the # RM-88400 relay Kit. I've attached a couple of videos to help. It will be slightly easier to install the relay kit first simply because less parts are installed, but you wouldn't hurt anything installing in the other order.
