Recommended Replacement 15 Inch Trailer Tires

Tire - What would you get for a 5.60-15

Expert Reply:

Tires that are size 5.60-15 seem to be vintage automotive tires based on my research and are not something you will want to use on your trailer.

Instead, for 15 inch tires on your trailer you are going to want to use tires that have the correct weight capacity to support the full GVWR of your trailer as well as have the correct diameter and width to fit your trailer without interfering with the fender or sidewall.

A 15 inch tire I recommend checking out is the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # 724861519 which measures 27.1" in diameter and is 8" wide when inflated; it also has a maximum capacity of 2,150 lbs at 65 psi.

The Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # 724857519 is a similar size, with a 28.3" diameter, 8.8" width and 2,830 lb capacity at 80 psi.

The Endurance is the best trailer tire we offer because it has automotive-grade tread to maintain exceptional grip and is designed with a reinforced sidewall to help protect you against blowouts. The Endurance also has an inner liner to help maintain the tire's psi and it has a handy tread wear indicator so you can easily see the amount of tread remaining on the tires. Additionally, the Endurance is one of the few trailer tires still made in the USA.

I have added links to video reviews of these tires for you to take a look at as well.
