Question:

Can you just run one generator in parallel if the demand for two is not needed as a fuel saving measure? for instance, your running lights, and T.V. and no A.C.

When the etrailer 6,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generators - Parallel Kit # 333-0003-2-0007 are connected in parallel then they would both be used as opposed to just one. If you only had the need for a single generator you could simply use one and not have them hooked up in parallel.

This unit with the parallel kit does have an Economy mode that is going to allow you to save fuel if you do not need the full 5,500 watt running power that both generators will put out.

I have added links to video reviews of these generators for you to take a look at.
