Edge to Edge Dimensions on Husky WD Shank # HT30859

What are the dimensions edge to edge up down side to side HT30859 ? shank is 14inch edge to edge but what is the other edge to edge dimension Im looking for a Distribution Shank usable as rise and min dimensions 11 1/2 inch shank edge to edge 12 inch rise edge to edge preferably 14 inchmaximum dimensions 15 inch shank edge to edge and maximum 17 inchrise edge to edge.. im also considering Item # EQ90-02-4400 and Item # C17123 particularly because of the potential for adjustability but Im afraid there will be almost no clearance when in the rise position . can you maybe recommend a larger 2foot hitch but with also has a full row of adjustments like c17123, Thanks i plan to use it on multiple vehicles one for one vehicle in the rise position with Ball Mount Adapter for Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Weight Distribution Shank Item # BA-1 and Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set - 3 Balls - 1inch Shank - Stainless Item # 902B

I went out to our warehouse to take a couple measurements on the weight distribution shanks that you mentioned in your question.

The Husky # HT30859 measures 14 inches long (edge to edge) on the shank portion that inserts into the hitch receiver and 14-1/2 inches long (edge to edge) on the adjustment hole side.

The Equal-i-zer # EQ90-02-4400 measures 12 inches long on the hitch receiver shank and 14 inches along the adjustment holes.

The Curt # C17123 measures 11 inches long on the hitch receiver side and 13-1/4 inches long on the adjustment hole side.

I have attached a few diagrams with these dimensions labeled that you can also use. Any of these shanks are compatible with the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount Adapter # BA-1 which can be used with the Interchangeable Ball Set # 902B.

With the information you provided I'm not quite sure what exact rise or drop you are needing to pull your trailers level but your best option may just be with an adjustable ball mount instead like the excellent Fastway # DT-ALBM6800-3S. This particular unit features a maximum rise of 9 inches or a maximum drop of 8 inches and 3 stainless steel hitch balls are included.

I have attached a short video demonstration on this ball mount that you can check out along with a link that will take you to our selection of adjustable ball mounts. I have also included a great article that explains how to choose the best ball mount for your setup to make sure the trailer is level when hooked up.
