LED strip Lighting That Can Be Cut into 3 Sections and Wired to a Switch

I contacted Diamond and the LED strip part # DG52681 can only be cut into two sections because the 4-pin connectors are not sold separately. When you cut on one of the copper sections of the strip you will be able to slide the 4-pin connector into the strip you cut and plug it into the black connector on the other strip.

The other black 4-pin connector is needed to plug the black section at the end of the strip into the plug with switch part # DG52671PB. You can then hardwire the switch into a 12V power source. The red wire wires into the power source and the black wire is the ground.

The best option for a LED strip to cut into 3 sections is part # DG52688BU. The LED light strip kit comes with four 4-pin connectors to allow you to cut the 3 sections and connect them back to together as needed to install around seats or corners. The wireless remote allows you to change the color to white like the part # DG52681 kit. The multi-color kit comes with a 110V AC adapter if you want to plug the strip into a wall in the future but you can still hardwire into the switch part # DG52671PB.
