Will Goodyear 225/75R-15 Trailer Tire Fit as Replacement for 205/75R-15 Trailer Tire

I have a Grand Design 2250RK travel trailer. Currently the tires are West Lake ST 205/75R-15, load range D. Im thinking about upgrading them to the Goodyear tire and want to move to a load range E, which is a ST225 tire. Two questions. 1. Should I move away from the West Lake? 2. Will a ST 225 fit on my wheel that has the ST205?

The Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # 724857519 is definitely an upgrade over the Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # LHWL300 and is likely to fit well as a replacement if you have a bit of extra room on your Grand Design travel trailer.

When inflated, the Westlake 205/75R15 measures 8.1 inches wide and has a diameter of 27.1 inches, while the Goodyear Endurance measures 8.9 inches wide and has a diameter of 28.3 inches. So as long as you have enough room for the added size and either 15" x 6", 15" x 6-1/2", or 15" x 7" wheels you will be good to go. We do recommend having at least 3 inches of clearance from your fenders and an inch of clearance from the frame.

The Goodyear Endurance # 724857519 is the best trailer tire we offer because it has automotive-grade tread to maintain exceptional grip and is designed with a reinforced sidewall to help protect you against blowouts. The Endurance also has an inner liner which to help maintain the tire's psi and it has a handy tread wear indicator so you can easily see the amount of tread remaining on the tires. Additionally, the Endurance is one of the few trailer tires still made in the USA.

This is a load range E tire that has a maximum capacity of 2,830 lbs when filled to 80 psi, has a speed rating of 87 mph. I have added a link to a video review of this tire for you to check out as well.
