Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2019 Honda Pilot

For 2019 honda pilot do you have a good hitch? im looking for one to pull a smaller trailer so i will also need a wiring harness for the vehicle. Is there something you can recommend for me? Thanks.

The trailer hitch I highly recommend for your 2019 Honda Pilot is the Draw-Tite # 75225 because it has a concealed crosstube and is a bolt-on installation that will not require drilling into your Honda's frame to install and is the only hitch that fits your Pilot with a dedicated spot to mount your wiring harness.

This Class III, 2" trailer hitch is almost entirely hidden behind your bumper, as you can see by the accompanying photo of this hitch installed on a Pilot. This hitch has a black powder coat finish which helps protect it from corrosion and also has a 6,000 lb towing capacity and 900 lb tongue weight capacity though you are going to want to check the owner's manual for the towing capacity of your Pilot as they are very often different than the capacity of the hitch.

I have added a link to a video of this hitch being installed on a Honda Pilot for you to take a look at.

For a wiring harness I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118760 because of how easy it is to install on your '19 Pilot; you will only need to plug it into connection points behind your taillights and install a couple fuses as outlined in the linked directions. For a mounting bracket you should use Mounting Bracket # 18144.

I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.

You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise. I've also attached a link to our page with each of our ball mounts for you to check out.
