How can I tell what me jeep originally came with for trailer options? 2001 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo.

Sounds like you are trying to determine if your 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the factory tow package so you can pick out the correct trailer wiring harness. Easiest way to tell would be to check to see if the vehicle has a factory trailer hitch and wiring installed on it currently. If so, then you'd have the tow package and the kit you'd want is the # 118381 which would plug inline with the 7-way you have to give you a 4-way. If instead you do not have either a hitch or wiring, you'd need the Curt T-Connector part # C55369 which still plugs into a factory trailer wiring port but comes with the needed converter box as well.
