Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for 2018 BMW X5 M Series

Question:

I have a 2018 BMW X5 M-Model that I want a trailer hitch to carry a bike rack. What hitch should I get? I'd prefer too a bike rack that will tilt to allow me to access the rear cargo door when carrying my bikes too.

For your 2018 BMW X5 M-Series/Model the hitch I recommend is the Curt Class III hitch part # 13077. This is a 2 inch hitch with plenty of capacity for a bike rack and has a concealed crosstube which allows it to be less visible too. Check out the install video and picture I attached as well.

I also have a great bike rack solution for you as well since you said you want to be able to access the rear cargo door with bikes loaded. For that I recommend the # TH9027XT as it allows you to carry up to 4 bikes and can swing out and away from the rear door with bikes loaded to give you total access to it. I attached a picture that shows this demonstrated as well as a review video for more info as well.
