What hardware size is intended to hold this light hole diameter?

The holes of the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light # STL78RB are right at 1/4 inch in diameter so going with a install bolts that are near 7/16 of an inch will be ideal. I'd recommend taking the light to a hardware store when picking out the hardware you plan to use so that you can make sure the head of the bolt also fits the recessed area of the flange and that you have the length you'd need with the bolt ran through the flange as well.
