What Does BL-OC Error Code Mean for Air Lift Compressor

My controller was throwing a bloc code... The compressor will air up the bags evenly but wont let the air back out when setting to a lower air pressure. This problem started shortly after a cold snap. I was hoping that when it warmed up things would start working again. No such luck... I did put in the recommended amount of air system antifreeze before freezing temperatures hit. What should I do?

The BL-OC code of an Air Lift compressor can mean two different things. It can mean the relay is bad or it can mean the manifold is bad. If you can track down a GM style relay that most vehicles use you can try swapping one with the relay of the compressor to easily rule that out. Most likely that is what it is though.

Or you can test to see if the relay is bad. There will be a 4-pin connector plugged into the manifold. With the key turned forward, unplug the connector and ground pin 4 (grey wire) to the frame. This will complete the circuit to the relay. The relay should click and the compressor should kick on. If the compressor doesn't kick on, then it's a bad relay.
