Pairing Monitor and Camera in Voyager 541 Observation Camera System

Blue screen comes on asked to pair it, went through this procedure and it failed. We had the running lights on. Used the camera a month ago and the monitor worked, what is wrong

The Voyager Digital Wireless Observation System # WVOS541 has an auto-pairing function but if the monitor is not receiving a signal from the camera the two may not be paired correctly. The monitor must be powered up first for pairing but the camera should NOT be powered up until the 4th step. My technical contact at Voyager confirmed that if the camera is powered up before the appropriate time the pairing will not work.

Here is the whole pairing process:

1. Monitor must be connected to 12 Volt DC power supply.
2. Press the SELECT/PAIR button on the front of the monitor and select the appropriate AV source (AV1-AV4).
3. Press and hold the "SELECT/PAIR" button on the front of the monitor for 5 seconds and
release. (Monitor will display "PAIRING START")
4. Apply 12 Volt DC power to the camera.(Camera 1 - Camera 4 corresponding to
Monitor's AV1 - AV4) by turning on the running lights.

If done correctly, monitor will display "SAVE DATA". If pairing is not successful, the monitor will display "PAIRING FAIL". If you receive this message, repeat steps 3-4. Disconnect or turn off power to both the camera and monitor for 60 seconds between pairing attempts.
