Question:
Camper has metal wire tray welded to tongue of camper. I have the Sway Pro BXW1500. If I go 29inch back from the center of coupler, I run into the tray and cannot fit the rotating latch mounts to line up at the 29inch mark. Is there an option for a shorter weight distribution bar. Tongue weight is 850 - 900lbs? Or any other advise? Thank you.

For your Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On # BXW1500 the lift bracket positioning is as you stated 29 inches back from the hitch ball. If you choose to use this system the manual recommends "Remove or relocate any obstructions on the trailer tongue framework if necessary".
If you want to move to a different system, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37120ET which can have the lift brackets positioned between 27" - 32" back from center of coupler. If that doesn't help, with the sandwich style mounting, that bracket can be bolted directly through the trailer frame and the bracket can be cut to fit. If you go this route, you will also want the socket # ALL643216 to install the hitch ball.
