Replacement Electrical Heating Element for Atwood Gas/Electric RV Water Heater AT94022

We have no hot water on the electric side. We do have on the gas side. So am I safe to assume that there is not a problem with the thermostat sensor and ECO. I believe those have to function before gas will ignite. I havent tested the element with a multi-tester yet.

If your Atwood Gas and Electric RV Water Heater # AT94022 operates properly with gas but not with electrical power then you are probably correct that the thermostat is okay. If the thermostat were bad this would affect both modes of operation.

It is more likely that the electrical heating element is worn and needs to be replaced with Atwood part # AT92249.

To find the location of the element you can just trace the two power wires. The photo I linked for you shows the location of the electrical element in a combination heater, which in this case is behind the gas structure.
