Replacement 145/12 Tires Needed for a 2017 Forest River Rockwood Freedom Pop Up

I have a 2017 Rockwood Freedom pop up camper, and the tires are lasting less than one season before wearing out. Not sure what is happening but I am trying to find a better tire. They have Sport ST 145/12 tires now and need to be replaced. Do you have a recommendation on a heavier duty tire that will hopefully last longer?

The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 # AM10140 is the highest rated tire that we current carry in the 145/12 size that you referenced. This has a load range E (Maximum load: 1,520 lbs at 80 psi) and a max speed rating of 65 mph.

If your tires are showing premature wear then there are a few things that I recommend checking out. Start off with the psi of your tires. If they are not filled to the rating on the sidewall of the tire then you could be overloading the tires. If you do have them properly inflated then check the amount of weight you have on the tires. Their combined weight capacity should meet or exceed the weight capacity of the axle they are installed on.

Some other things to check are that you don't go over the max speed rating for the tires and you avoid hitting curbs (if that is a frequent problem) as that weakens the sidewall. If you are driving on some rough roads then that will certainly contribute to tire wear as well.
