Which Line is Transmission Return Line on 2007 Dodge Caravan 3.3 l
Updated 09/27/2011 | Published 09/24/2011 >
Question:
I purchased a Derale D13503 for my 2007 Dodge Caravan, 3.3 litre engine. I did watch your video for installation and found it helpful. The video shows the technician removing the lower transmission line on the foctory cooler. I thought the return line was the upper line. Which is correct? Also, should I use the insta-dapt 13004 and connect it to the radiator or follow the video and not use it?

An easy way to determine which line is the return line is to run the vehicle for a few minutes and then feel which of the 2 lines is cooler. The cooler line should be the return line.
I contacted our representative at Derale and he informed me that the Insta-dapt radiator adapter is not required for installation on your 2007 Caravan.
I have linked a video installation of another model Derale Transmission Cooler being installed on a 2007 Dodge Ram Caravan and an FAQ on transmission coolers.
