Question:
I have a 04 Toyota Tundra. I have the factory 7 pin plug at my hitch and I believe I have located the plug-in conn under my dash, above the gas pedal, near center console. Q1 is, this controller is compatible, right? Q2 is, this controller is plug-in ready? why do I see terminals?

The P2 Prodigy Brake Controller part # 90885 is a great choice for a brake controller for your 2004 Toyota Tundra. All you need to install it is the part # 3040-P which plugs into the port under the dash of your vehicle.
I attached a picture of where you'll find the port as well as an install video for you to check out. The port is actually near the emergency brake pedal.
