How to Fix a Leaky Pipe Under a Bathroom Sink
Question:
How can I fix it Leaking bathroom sink at bottom of sink where the pipe connects

Expert Reply:
If the pipe you are referring to has a threaded connection then you will need to remove the fitting, clean the threads, apply a sealant like part # LT37482 or part # A05-0265, and then retorque the fitting as needed. If the pipe you are referring to is made of PVC then you will want to remove it, clean where it slides into the coupler, and then again apply sealant like part # LT37467 before attaching it to the coupler. You will want to allow time for each of the compounds to dry before running water through the pipes. If the pipes feed water then you will also need to shut off the water supply before making any repairs.
